Privacy matters but it can be confusing. This page explains our approach to privacy on website and how it affects you.
I collect anonymous statistics about your visit, like which of my pages you viewed.
Some third parties (Facebook/Twitter/etc.) may know you visited this website, if you use their services.
If you sign up with me I take great care to keep your information safe and I never share it with others without your express permission.
I never share your data with third parties except to help us deliver our own services.
Measuring my visitors
I measure visitors to my website using Google Analytics. This records what pages you view within my site, how you arrived at my site and some basic information about your computer. All of that information is anonymous – I don’t know who you are; just that somebody visited our site.
The information I collect from analytics helps me understand what parts of my site is doing well, how people arrive at our site and so on. This information is used improve my website.
Facebook, Twitter and other social networks
These services provide social buttons and similar features which we use on our website – such as the “Like” and “Tweet” buttons.
To do so Iembed code that they provide and I do not control myself. This may mean that the social network may know if you’re logged in to their site; for example Facebook use this to say “x of your friends like this”. I do not have any access to that information, nor can I control how those networks use it.
Social networks therefore could know that you’re viewing this website, if you use their services (that isn’t to say they do, but their policies may change).
If you sign up for a service
When you sign up for any of my services – paid or otherwise – I will record specific personal information about you, such as your name and email address.
I will also collect and store information about your use of my services so as to improve them. For example, I keep a log of what features are being used at any time.
I also log account and transaction history for accounting purposes, and to monitor my business activities.
I may send you email notifications regarding your service (such as invoices and tickets) or which you have specifically requested or are generated as part of a transaction.
I will never provide your personal information or email address to any third parties except where they are specifically employed to help deliver my own services, as detailed above.
I may use a variety of payment providers to bill for my products online. These companies will have access to your personal and payment information. When paying by credit card online, I never has any access to your credit card details.
When paying via telephone, I do not record your debit or credit card details in any of our systems. Details are entered into my secure payment processor's systems, all of which meet current PCI security requirements and are considered industry safe.
The third parties I may use are WorldPay (to process debit and credit cards) or PayPal (to process credit cards and accept payment via PayPal).
