Cerus Botanical Designs Floral Artistry is my creative utopia, born from my love for crafting exquisite floral arrangements and designing captivating Botanical Interiors. As I embrace my 50s, I carry with me a vibrant zest for life, a spring in my step, and a love for adorning my hair with nature's beauty. You've got to love a flower crown!

My journey began alongside my remarkable mother, Margaret, in the bustling workshop of Woodland Flowers. There, amidst the flurry of petals and foliage, I honed my skills in the art of floristry. Together, for over two and a half decades, we meticulously crafted enchanting displays for weddings, events, and businesses. Our biggest accolade was creating stunning floral creations for a banquet hosted by our late queen and crafting a posy for our present Queen Camilla. In 2006, as my mother retired, I stepped into her space at the workbench, giving rise to Cerus Botanical Designs Floral Artistry.

Nestled within the tranquility of 75 acres of woodland, my workshop serves as both sanctuary and creative haven. Here, I immerse myself in the magic of floral design, blending silk flowers and foraged treasures to fashion unique and breathtaking compositions. Whether it's a whimsical twig from a woodland stroll or a vintage vase discovered in a charity shop, I delight in harmonizing affordable elements with high-end touches to create truly one-of-a-kind pieces.

Beyond my workbench, I proudly wear many hats—I do love a good hat. I am a devoted mother to my 17-year-old Marine Cadet Corporal daughter, Ellanean, and an inspired daughter to Margaret, both of whom are my unwavering supporters. Alongside these roles, I embrace the diverse responsibilities as a solo business owner of florist, retailer, thrifter, teacher, networker, and in my personal life, I hope I'm a loyal confidant and a kind friend. It's a finely orchestrated balancing act, made possible by the loyal support of my incredible family and beautiful friends.
