I was trained in floristry by my mum, Margaret Jarvis. We’ve been in our little woodland workshop for over 25 years, and have created floral displays for countless weddings, events, funerals and businesses in that time.
In 2016 my Mum embraced her retirement, and I went it alone! I took on all of Mum’s corporate contracts and stepped away from doing so many weddings. I’ve loved every minute.
I love charity and car boot shopping, and I’ve always got an eye out for items I can use next – whether that’s an unusual piece of foliage I find on a walk in the woods, or an amazing new top at a car boot sale; it could be a unique vase in a charity shop, or a stunning bunch of silk flowers in a bargain shop. I find all sorts of treasures all over the place, and I get the greatest joy from creating a beautiful look with the most affordable elements! Living a wonderful life without it costing a fortune is me through and through.
I’m married to Matt, and have been since 2014. He’s my backbone, and my biggest fan and cheerleader (alongside my Mum). I’m a Mum myself, to my beautiful daughter Ellanean, who has been full time homeschooled since 2014.
I’m a wife, daughter, mum, florist, retailer and teacher; each part of my life has its own demands and priorities, but everything is manageable, especially with the fabulous business network I have to support me.
