I’ve always had a passion for sharing my love of creating displays, and the skills I’ve learned through all walks of my life. The pandemic really fuelled that passion, and I know that teaching people what I love is one of the most fulfilling parts of what I do.
I offer this through a variety of workshops, held at my very own workshop tucked away in the woods.
Creating your own displays is so relaxing, so rewarding, and doesn’t have to cost a fortune. We do use some fresh flowers and foliage, but we mix them with silk flowers, branches, sticks, dried blooms, whatever Mother Nature gives us – plus pre-loved and upcycled pieces to complement and offset your unique creation display.
I just love seeing the joy around the bench when we all create from the heart. You’ll leave with a display that is unique to you, that you can keep fresh and beautiful in an affordable way, and that looks a million dollars.
Some of the workshops I offer:
- Bring Your Own Container
- Pampas Grass
- Floral Wall Displays
Each workshop is two hours long, and has a maximum of 10 attendees.
My workshops are a time of tranquillity, fun, laughter, relaxation, and learning that you don’t need hundreds of pounds to bring the beauty of nature into your home. With a few tricks, and little bit of resource gathering from unusual places – the woods, charity shops, the high street, even granny’s attic – you’ll always have something beautiful to create and display that’s as unique as you are.
And you don’t have to come to my workshop to have yours – they can be held at your own venue too. I’ve visited pubs, creative studios and even churches to share the beauty of botanical design!
